Der Forschungsschwerpunkt ist grundsätzlich interdisziplinär angelegt und steht transfakultär als Plattform für Diskussionen zur Verfügung. Die zentralen Anliegen des Schwerpunktes lassen sich folgend charakterisieren:

  • Methoden und Theorien der Digital Humanities
  • Plattform zur Diskussion angewandter Forschung
  • Plattform zur Sammlung und Verbreitung von Projekten der Digital Humanitis
