Call for Papers: People and Ideas on the Move: Interaction, Interconnection and Entanglement (12th Annual GRACEH, 26.-28. 04. 2018., Wien)

The 12th Annual Graduate Conference in European History (GRACEH), organised by the University of Vienna, Central European University (Budapest) and European University Institute (Florence) will focus on historical manifestations of movement. The conference will be held at the Institute for East Euorpean History from University of Vienna (Vienna, Austria) from April 26-28, 2018.

Keynote speakers for GRACEH 2018 are Małgorzata Mazurek (Columbia University, NYC) and Pap Ndiaye (Sciences Po, Paris).

In order to establish a space for a productive discussion, they invite graduate students from the humanities and social sciences to speak about the following themes:

  1. Historical Research on the Move
  2. People on the Move
  3.  Ideas on the Move

Paper abstracts of up to 300 words and a brief biography with full contact details (email, telephone, postal address) should be sent to GRACEH2018@univie.ac.at by 1 December 2017.
